Group Purchasing
The Group Purchasing Program (GPP) combines the purchasing power of APSC shareholders into a single purchasing unit. To further enhance this purchasing power, APSC has entered into an exclusive contractual arrangement with the McKesson Corporation for GPP services. This exclusive arrangement has produced one of the best overall pharmacy packages in the marketplace for both trade and generic medications, and provides APSC pharmacists the opportunity to focus on patient care/disease state management and other aspects of their businesses. Participation in GPP is limited to APSC shareholders. Cost to the PharmacyAn independent pharmacy must be a shareholder in and pay a one-time enrollment fee of $100 to the APSC Cooperative to participate in GPP. Additional pharmacies managed by the same shareholder may participate in GPP without payment of an additional enrollment fee, provided each becomes a shareholder of APSC. |
